How to “Bookmark” a Website

Simple Instructions to Bookmark a page or website.

GOOGLE CHROME

Hold down the Ctrl button and then push D  (Ctrl+D)

or:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Go to the page that you’d like to bookmark.
  3. Bookmark the page:

Click on the star at the right end of your location (url) bar.

An option box will open. You can name this location what you would like.

You can there put the bookmarked page where you prefer. Including the bookmark tool bar (*) under your location (url) bar.

*Access the Bookmark tool bar= use the keyboard command: Ctrl+Shift+B

 

FIREFOX/Mozilla Browser

Hold down the Ctrl button and then push D  (Ctrl+D)

Or:

  1. Open Foxfire
  2. Go to the page you’d like to bookmark.
  3. Bookmark the page:

Go to the Bookmarks tab at the top left of your window.

Click on Bookmarks.

Click on Bookmark this page.

Name your page and choose your location.

Access the Bookmark tool bar= right click on the clipboard icon in the upper right hand corner of your page.   Click on Bookmarks toolbar to open.

 

INTERNET EXPLORER

Hold down the Ctrl button and then push D  (Ctrl+D)

Or:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Go to the page you’d like to bookmark.
  3. Click on “Favorites” on the upper left hand of the page, under the location bar.

Add to Favorites, or Add to favorites bar.

 

Basically Ctrl + D (Cmd +D for mac) will bookmark your pages in all the most common browers.
